Sometimes I just want them to listen…
As a care provider for your fertility patient / client sometimes it’s okay not to have all the answers, but instead have a great pair of ears to listen to your client or patient.
These are just some of the comments I have been shared with me over the years from intended parents.
“Please know my reproductive life and my future child’s life is in your hands. Please know I am often overwhelmed and scared. I don’t mean to be a thorn in your side, or a pain in the neck. I just want to be a mother in the worst way and I can’t think about anything else.”
“Can you help me make any of this easy?”
“I told my therapist that I needed support because my husband and I are choosing to select an anonymous egg donor. I can’t talk to anyone else about this. I just need someone who is unbiased to listen not and make judgments about our choices.”
